About the Park

Providing an example of attractive, energy efficient single-family homes that can be built cost effectively and are affordable to Redding’s entry-level home buyers is our number one goal for this project.  According to current local real estate statistics relative to recent new and resale home prices, households with incomes below 120% of AMI (area median income) are generally unable to purchase a home in our area.  The three AGREE Park homes will be targeted to the local entry-level market, providing ownership opportunities for local working families.  Specifically, one home each will target households at the 120%, 100%, and 80% income levels.

Our entire project revolves around the utilization of infill lots. We have worked with the City of Redding Redevelopment Agency to identify lots where the homes will eventually be relocated. We know that this project has the ability to stimulate additional private construction activity utilizing its premises of energy efficiency, sustainability, and affordability. It is our belief that home ownership can become a reality for many more local families through this project’s efforts.

We anticipate breaking ground this summer. At that time the educational cycle will begin and AGREE Park will be up and running. In turn, this website will become much larger and be more engaging. Expect to see complete information on the AGREE Park Homes, to include virtual tours, and resources on “how to build sustainable housing”.
